Primordia: The Animated Series

Hey everybody!
As you may know, Marauder acquired the rights to Primordia back in early 2024.

It’s a real honor and joy to share some very early work on the animated series adaptation! Bringing this cult-hit game into a new medium is a dream, and I can’t wait to share more of the journey. Here’s a first look at some art — with much more to come! 🤖

A huge thank you to Mark Yohalem and his team. It’s an honor to play in your sandbox! And to screenwriter Walker McKnight — what a joy it’s been to start bringing shape to such a magical script about breaking free from our programming!

It’s still very early days, and nothing is set in stone, but we are in conversations with some incredible partners (some of who's music and scores I have been listening to since I was a child!!!)

Part of what excites me most is that few animated stories have ventured into this kind of post-apocalyptic, post-humanity territory (beyond maybe Wall-E or certain anime). That’s one of the many reasons I fell in love with Primordia — its world is rich, unique, and brimming with possibility.

At Marauder, we’re venturing forth with great excitement, deep respect for the property, and of course some nerves — because we want to deliver something that resonates with the amazing Primordia fanbase (myself included!).
